Ivan
Thanks for your kind words. A wonderful way to finish 2012.
There are murmurs about to put both books together by the spring, with additional writings since the originals were published.
It will come down to time, and energy I guess.

I can't believe that there's no comments!!!

I loved (loved, loved, loved, can't live without) your first book and I didn't know you had written a second.

My Mother (bless her little, still-beating (goddamn it!) heart), has managed to acquire and lose my copy of Simple Flavours. I am so not at all impressed. My immediate departure from this world was imminent and then I found your website.

If you choose to reprint either or both of the books, and please feel free to write a third - I imagine that "parjano rejano" (is that how your daughter pronounced it?) is still essential to her life and that she's learned some new recipes and has some stories of her own.

My goal in life is to not cook your recipes but to cook your recipes, every one of them, with my own, subtle, touch and to learn, slowly, how to have fun in the kitchen (with my clothes on!). Like you, I"m not so good at following recipes but I do follow ideas.

Geoff, you made a world of difference to my cooking attitude and I am sure that you did the same for the many people people who haven't thanked you.

My very best wishes, most sincerely, to you, your wife and your children. They all, although you did the writing, contributed to my understanding of cooking.
